Equity Resources
Advocates for Ohio’s Future encourages members and supporters to use the following diversity, equity and inclusion resources to further their journey towards equity in their work, organizations and lives. This is by no means a comprehensive list of equity resources available to organizations and advocates, but should be used as a stepping stone towards greater understanding and knowledge.
Equity is a consideration in AOF’s position and policy proposals. Historically, laws and policies have institutionalized racism and bias against marginalized groups. AOF advocates for policies that provide necessary resources and services to at-risk populations to ensure an individual’s well-being and success are not predictable by race, class, geography, language, gender, or other relevant social factors.
