SNAP IN RECONCILIATION: PART TWO

For the first time in the program's history, states will soon be required to pay a portion of previously 100% federally-funded SNAP benefits, based on the state's "payment error rate." This is not a measure of fraud, but rather a measure of how accurately SNAP benefit amounts are calculated. Join us for a deeper dive into Ohio's SNAP payment error rate and how community organizations can work in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and County JFS leaders to be "partners in accuracy."

Speakers:

  • Rachel Cahill, The Center for Community Solutions

  • Betsy Suver, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services
