The Ohio’s Kids Count: 2011 Data Book, offers an annual snapshot of the well-being of youth in Ohio and its 88 counties.

The data book contains important data and a summary of the trends regarding 15 key indicators of child well-being. The 2011 Data Book looks at how children across the state are faring in terms of their ability to access the resources needed to be healthy and successful. Helpful charts provide a comparison of state and county data, with links to additional resources. Also included in each section are the highlights of programs and promising practices being implemented to improve the well-being of Ohio’s children.

A new section of the report called “Health Access” includes information about obesity, oral health and insurance rates.
